2006 Gallardo Spyder

One of the greatest and more popular of the Lamborghini vehicles would have to be the Gallardo Spyder. The Gallardo Spyder was created two years after the coupe version of the Gallardo was released. It was first presented to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The 2006 Gallardo Spyder is similar to the coupe except that it is an open-top version.

2006 Gallardo GT3

Probably one of the best and newest vehicles that have come from Lamborghini would have to be the GallardoGT3. The 500+bhp car was developed for entry in the GT3 category of international sportscar series as either 4-wheel or 2-wheel drive. The smoothness and the durability of the vehicle make it unique and a beauty to look at.

Islero 400 GT

The Lamborghini 400 GT was a successful and popular vehicle back in 1967, but Ferruccio decided to build a new body on its framework. At the time the Carrozzeria Touring was falling into great financial problems, and since they also built the 400 GT body, this decision came right in the nick of time.

1971 Countach LP500

The Lamborghini Countach LP500 first appeared in March 1971 at the Geneva show. It is beleived that the vehicle received its name before the show when someone at Bertone’s Grugliasco plant saw it and exclaimed “Countach” (pronounced “COON-tahsh” or “CUN-touch”, Italians use both pronunciations).

1966 GT Monza

After almost ten years’ of hard labored pursuit, the Bonhams successfully consigned this Lamboghini prototype that had been hidden from public view since soon after its sale to the present owner’s family in 1966. This uniquely exotic front-engined Lamborghini, which was christened the ‘400GT Monza’, has been the object of speculation by Italian car collectors and Lamborghini enthusiasts alike. Many have doubted its survival and its whereabouts has been a much-discussed question.
