Through this podcast they will be offering unique content to all of their loyal fans and costumers. All of the podcasts that Lamborghini will be offering will be free to download. Lamborghini is hoping that this new investment will help to spark more interest for their cars and to bring in more customers and fans.

For now there are five podcasts that are available on iTunes that will touch on Lamborghini’s $1 million Euro, Reventon, and they will be featuring their brand new AD Personam personalization program called “Making a Lamborghini your Lamborghini”.

This newest Gallardo has been given a 5.2 liter V10 direct-injected engine that has the ability to pump out 560 horsepower. Lamborghini has also dropped off some of the weight by about 20 kilos – which allows the new supercar to shoot from 0 to 62 in 3.7 seconds. It also has the top speed of 201 mph.

If that wasn’t good enough it has also been built to be more fuel efficient and reduces the C02 emissions by about 18%. To get the skinny on all of the important detials check out the press release provided below.

It seems that they will be working together with Asus – a computer company that has previously worked with Audi. Together they will be revealing their Lamborghini PDA phone that they brag will rival Apple’s infamous iPhone. They will be showing the new phone off in Germany at the CeBit show next month.

For now we know that the phone will run the Pro or 6.1 edition of Windows Mobile operating system and will be equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G connectivity. It will also have a touch screen for easy navigation, and a 520 MHz Qualcomm CPU.

It is hard to say at this time if it will be able to stand up against the iPhone when so many have fallen – but if anyone can do it than Lamborghini is the one. Pre-orders are already being taken for the $916 phone.

The scans of the magazine picture show us the defined features of the revised rear grille, quad tailpipes, and the front air dam – which has been more pronounced. New struts have been added and frame a third central intake located just below the front bumper. The openings for the exhaust have been reshaped as well as the grille in order to allow better engine heat dissipation.

The LP550 will be powered by a V10 – which will displace 5.2 liters and release a powerful 550 horsepower. You can imagine the kind of noise that it emits when all this power is released. We have been told though that it is surprisingly quiet when it is idle. Lamborghini will be revealing the LP550 at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show.

The 2008 European Winter Academy opened in January at the Auronzo di Cadore, Cortina d’Ampezzo, in Italy. At the school Lamborghini drivers will be taught how to take control of their vehicle while driving on the snow and ice. 15 drivers each day will be given an ‘expert tuition’ from the professional drivers before they are allowed behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Coupe, Superleggera, and Spyder on the icy roads. Some of the many things they learn is oversteering, understeering, emergency braking, laps around the icy track, and pendulum exercises.

The school will be held next at the Ghiacciodromo in Livigno, Italy, from March 7-9. It costs around 2250 euros each day and each course can teach up to 12-15 students. Those of you who want to take advantage of this school visit their site www.lamborghiniacademy.com.

The brand new Lamborghin Reventon was pitted against a fighter jet in what could be the best race in history. The 3km race was played out on a runway provided by the Ghedi military.

When the race began the Reventon took off quick – but the Tornado (fighter jet) caught up with it and stayed in the lead. But don’t be too discouraged by the defeat. The Reventon was able to speed up to 340km/h. We have to admit that it is one powerful car.

For those of you who are familiar with the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 you will know that the car had clean lines, but this carbon fiber body kit has thrown all of Lamborghini’s hard work away and have favored some very excessive lines to say the least.

So what does the new IMSA body kit give you, well you get a additional air ducting, rear spoiler, new front clip, rear diffuser and new fender flares this brings the track of the car out another 70 mm in total. IMSA will supply it either unpainted or painted to match your color. Who says that you can’t improve on a work of art to make it more into what you like?

Thier Lamborghini made of wire was shown off at the Art Car Parade in Manchester last month. The two guys behind it, sculptor Benedict Radcliffe and pedal car designer Ben Wilson, even managed to get the attention of a British cop &mdash probably the first time a Lambo has been ticketed for going too slowly.

While it may be too slow and too open it’s still pretty cool! We have to give these guys kudos for creating a masterpiece like this.

The design for this newest supercar was derived from the Murcielago LP640. All of the car’s off-the-wall styling are fully functional, says Lambo, with massive air intakes required to cool the beast’s engines and brakes. It may only be powered by a 650bhp 6.5-litre V12, yet it’s still a road car, in name anyway. An LCD switches between a conventional dial-type display and a graphical version complete with a G-force meter.

The Reventon will be limited to a run of 20, providing adequate reasons to buy for those for whom a simple Murcielago is insufficiently exclusive. Even if you do have a spare mil floating around you’ll be hard pushed to get your hands on a Reventon. All 20 of the cars will be sold to mates of Lambo.

The design was radical for Lamborghini. The four-door, four-seater car had doors that opened vertically. There were no B-pillars which are commonly used to strengthen the passenger area in case of side impacts. The car never made it into Lamborghini production but Chrysler did use the design for its Intrepid and Concord series. The Char-Gold color made it into Chrysler production, but the doors were not used. The rear wing found its way onto the Dodge/Chrysler Stealth.

An aluminum eight-cylinder engine was transversely mounted and placed mid-ship. With the 4 twin-throat Weber 40 DCNF carburetors, the vehicle produced 225 horsepower. Power was sent to the rear wheels through a Lamborghini five-speed manual gearbox. The chassis was steel unibody and Girling ventilated disc brakes were placed on all four corners.

In 1991 a transporter carrying the Portofino concept rolled over and the vehicle was destroyed. Chrysler had the vehicle restored and remains the only example of the vehicle. It is on display in the Daimler/Chrysler World Headquarters and Tech Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
