Lamborghini Owners Learn To Drive From The Best

Lamborghini has taken notice of all the accidents that can occur during the cold winter months. People who own a Gallardo or Murcielago can be unaware of just how tricky and difficult it can be to drive on the icy and snowy roads. That is why they have created a school full of professionals that can teach them.

The 2008 European Winter Academy opened in January at the Auronzo di Cadore, Cortina d’Ampezzo, in Italy. At the school Lamborghini drivers will be taught how to take control of their vehicle while driving on the snow and ice. 15 drivers each day will be given an ‘expert tuition’ from the professional drivers before they are allowed behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Coupe, Superleggera, and Spyder on the icy roads. Some of the many things they learn is oversteering, understeering, emergency braking, laps around the icy track, and pendulum exercises.

The school will be held next at the Ghiacciodromo in Livigno, Italy, from March 7-9. It costs around 2250 euros each day and each course can teach up to 12-15 students. Those of you who want to take advantage of this school visit their site www.lamborghiniacademy.com.
